Get creative in New York

You can never get bored in New York! Just stand up, go and there are always a pool of things to do, to see, to participate. It is Tribeca Film Festival has just ended this weekend.  Art exhibitions right in the artists’ studios in SoHo, workshops from entertainment industry professionals and even family street fair are open for each New Yorker and an aware visitor.

These studios are placed in the desired and expensive area in Manhattan – SoHo. How so? Artists say that the amount of studios they have in this area is just 10% of what is used to have here 30 years ago. Now other businesses are taking over and only the most successful painters may manage to stay and work in this inspiring area of New York.
Mr Robert is 49 years old now, for the last 18 of them he is and eager painter and artist. “People here are all straight forward, they know what they want and that is refreshing!” – the artist says.
Julie Delpy is a French director who is conquering Hollywood. You may have seen her in such movies as “Before Sunset” and “Before Sunrise”. Now 15 years later she just has released a new movie of her own “2 days in New York” and the public seem to like it. Julie shares that it is extremely hard to be a women director in the USA: “Hollywood is ruled by white male directors over 60”.

David Larkin is a young producer, who has his own promising project. It is a new media based product which allows people from all over the World share a movie experience online, while playing drinking games and having all kinds of fun!

This city hardly ever sleeps, so just get up and go and explore!
