1. If you have a chance see Niagara Falls at both night and day lights. At day you may enjoy all the variety of offered activities (walks, boats, special observation points). Where at night you will find the Niagara Falls trying on all colors of the rainbow.
2. People say that Niagara Falls has better view from Canada side. Yes indeed! All Russian citizens need Canadian visa you may try to get permission for a day in Buffalo, NY at the consulate. We weren’t prepared for such twist. The officer from the US side of the Rainbow Bridge sent us to his colleague at the Canadian side of it… And even though we weren’t allowed to enter the country after all, practically the border was crossed and we have had our fare five minutes in Canada! Plus we took a good amount of nice pictures of Niagara Falls from Canada and from the Bridge in between.
3. Maid of Mist Boat cost us $15.50 per person. We can recommend you to have an extra water-proofed case for you camera. Also try to get accounted with some other tourists on the boat, so when Niagara Fall is close and splashing into your eyes and booming into your years, you have a mate to ask for a fast picture.
4. Cave of Winds cost us $11.00 per person. It is crucial for you to put on some shorts or a skirt, since you are about to have a head-to-toe-shower. The rest (sandals and raincoat) would be given to you along your way to the Cave. And, yeah! Make sure you pick a sunny day that would really help you to run dry after all the experience.
