Thank you notes

When the trip is over and you look back on all what has been done and seen you often realize one important thing. All this time not only you have been traveling from place to place, from experience to experience, you also were handled from one good pair of hands to another. And the people you meet and who help you, and who take care of you, and who worry for you are what actually give your memories that bitter-sweet taste. Bitter because they are not around anymore and sweet because they were. It is time for another good American tradition, we’ve experienced – “Thank you notes”:

Achuith: for letting us in, for joining us at for all the dancing, for Google-tour, for the snacks, for care.

Advantage car-rental: for accepting our “strange” European driving license even in strict Arizona.

Allan: for being so much of true fun.

Allentown Airport: for being our roof for a night, for WiFi, for comfy sits, for smiling staff.

American Tire: for curing our “nailed” car for absolutely free.

Bob: for hosting us in such a last minute, for sharing your exciting garden and other stories.

Cadence: for the interview, for RV-experience, for the morning coffee, for detailed road directions.

Cars (Sue, Bianca and Jacob): for being strong and carrying us around all those amazing places.

Corinne: for giving us “our” room, for the talk on the swings, for taking us Suzanna, for care and support.

Couch surfers of Seattle: for your quick and positive respond, we appreciate it very much.

Daniel: for hospitality, for the concert of “Balto” group, for your friends, for the phone help.

David: for hike-tips, for the company, for Yosemite tour, for letting us camp with you, for road tips.

Del: for a gentle yoga experience, for the biggest bed we have had, for pineapple, strawberries and breakfast.

Derrick: for your cheer, for the carrot cake, for taking us to your, guys, beach, for care and support.

Eldar: for making time to meet and get interviewed, for Stanford-tour, for the best salad place.

Eliana: for inviting to your BBQ party and for the interview.

Eric&Daisy&Katie: for having us for a dinner, for trip tips, for the interview, for taking us back home.

Garrett: for the highest place we’ve ever stayed on this trip, for telling us your crazy life-story.
Grand Canyon Visitor Center: for unexpected return of our walking stick.

Jim&Linda: for the corporate party, for an exciting wedding story, for useful recommendations.

Jon: for guiding us to your home, for hiking tips, for the truck ride, for introducing to friends and dogs.

Kyle: for looking after our car, for being a total savior with our car’s almost flat tire, for directions.

LaRae: for meeting us, for sharing you crazy trip-stories, for showing us other way of retired life.
Lida: for inviting us to LA, for food tips, for interview, for movie-company, for airport taxi-booking.

McDonalds: for sharing your open-WiFi for numerous of times along the whole road.

Mike: for being such a cool guy, for sharing your passion for life, for telling us all those LOL-stories.

Naomi&Brett: for picking us up, for a room and sleeping bags, for the advices, for guide books.
Paul: for the meeting, for the talking, for giving useful tips on Couch Surfing.
